Pink October: a month of awareness and solidarity
Every year in France, Pink October highlights the importance of prevention and breast cancer screening, the most common cancer among women, with more than 60,000 new cases annually according to the National Cancer Institute. When detected early, this cancer can be cured in nearly 90% of cases.
Beyond the figures, Pink October is above all a collective movement that brings together citizens, associations, and businesses around a shared goal: to inform, to support research, and to accompany those affected.
Satab’s commitment to Pink October

A pink solidarity tape on every shipment
Throughout the month of October, every parcel dispatched will carry a specially designed tape in the colours of Pink October. For each roll used, €1 will be donated to the “Ruban Rose” association, which funds innovative medical research projects and supports awareness campaigns.
A pink ribbon brooch for every employee
Crafted in our workshops, this pink ribbon brooch will be given to all our employees. Discreet yet visible, this universal symbol of the fight against breast cancer allows everyone to show their support and contribute to raising awareness.
The Pink Walk in Saint-Didier-en-Velay
On 19 October 2025, Satab will take part in the Pink Walk organised in Saint-Didier-en-Velay. This local event is a strong moment of solidarity, sharing, and conviviality. The company will cover the registration fees for any employees wishing to participate.
