What are your day-to-day tasks?
I’m a textile designer at Satab, creating and revitalizing ribbon collections for the Fashion, Home, Consumer and Packaging business lines.
What do you love about your job?
It’s a job that involves materials, colour and drawing, and it’s fascinating. And above all, it’s a job of constant exchange, which is very stimulating.
How do you see your job in 10 or 20 years’ time?
It’s hard to say: a 10-20 year projection is a long way off… but it’s certainly true that the turning point that has already been reached is that creation cannot be separated from its ecological impact, and creation in general must and will have to take into account the constraints linked to the environment.
Satab in 2 words, what would you say?
Satab is surprisingly full of different trades (know-how) and sectors that rub shoulders and interact. It’s a company with long-standing expertise, and yet at the cutting edge of technology, and a great team that makes you want to move forward!
